"Geht aus mein zirbelherz, wohin mein verse" Kerstin Hensel

This German poem talks about a journey of the heart and creativity. The "pinecone heart" and "verses" represent the poet's feelings and expressions.

The poem shows a deep longing, maybe for love, understanding, or artistic expression. The phrase "gehe aus" means to go out or move forward, suggesting a desire to explore beyond the current state.

The idea of "where my verses go" hints at both a physical and emotional journey. It suggests that writing poetry helps the poet explore their identity and experiences.

The poem uses nature imagery to show the connection between the poet's feelings and the natural world, which can inspire them.

Verses of the Soul

WC Heart 01

In the quiet moments of dawn, when the world is still and the heart is open, let your verses flow like a gentle stream. Each word, a reflection of your innermost thoughts, a whisper of your soul's journey.

During the early mornings of each of my days, I awake and sit up in my bed, eye's closed, very still with an open ear and my mind focused on God. This practice of waiting to hear from the Lord is healing.

You can take the time to do the same practice in your journal, pausing and allowing the Spirit to come to mind allowing your words to flow out on the pages of your journal.

Either method is a prayer, a meditation and a conversation with the universe or God.

In your verses, find the courage to explore the unknown, to venture beyond the familiar. Let them be a beacon of light, illuminating the way forward. Trust in the journey, and let your verses be your compass.

The "pinecone heart" in the poem symbolizes a unique and personal aspect of the poet's inner self. It represents the core of their emotions, creativity, and identity. The pinecone, with its intricate and natural design, suggests a deep connection to nature and the organic growth of one's feelings and artistic expression.

This is a helpful way to take the concept of the "pinecone heart" and start and exploration of your own inner selves.

I've included a few ways that you can use this idea:

Starting with a self-reflection method: what makes up you own "pinecone heart." What are the core emotions, values, and experiences that shape their identity? This can be a starting point for personal growth and understanding.

Possibly try your unique creative expression: Just as the poet uses verses to explore his feelings, we can use various forms of creative expression—writing, painting, music, etc.—to delve into our own emotions and experiences. The "pinecone heart" can be a source of inspiration for your artistic endeavors.

My favorite as in this meditation garden, a connection to nature: The imagery of the pinecone emphasizes the natural world. Spending time in nature, observing and reflecting on how it influences your thoughts and feelings. This connection can provide a sense of peace and inspiration.

For some reason whenever I am taking a walk I am drawn towards certain structures, sometimes just a piece of it. Trees especially catch my eye, whether it's a particular limb or the bark on the tree.

Take notice of embracing your uniqueness: Just like every pinecone is unique, so is each person's heart and experiences. Embrace your individuality and celebrate what makes you different. This can lead to greater self-acceptance and confidence.

By using the "pinecone heart" as a metaphor, you can embark on a journey of self-discovery and creative exploration, finding inspiration in both your inner selves and the natural world around you.
