Everything is Erased

"Here - Where everything is erased by the air forever."

Jose Angel Valente

RC Circle of Stones 08

The phrase "everything is erased by the air forever" reminds us that nothing lasts forever.

It shows how time and nature can make our memories, experiences, and even things we can touch disappear.

This idea encourages us to think about life and the fact that change is a natural part of our journey.

"What memories or experiences in your life do you cherish, and how can you embrace their impermanence while still finding meaning in them?"

Erased by the Air

As I read this poem it causes me to pause and consider my own life. What does it mean for me to be alive and aware in a world that is constantly changing. Sometimes going in directions, I like and sometimes in a direction I don't like so much.

Time does seem to be moving more quickly lately. Is it because I am getting older, or is time really moving quicker? Each moment seems to disappear so quickly. It serves as a reminder to find beauty and meaning in each experience, no matter how brief.

Let's contemplate the word "ERASED" could it signify more than just a physical disappearance.  Or could it be a deeper meaning of loss or loss of self.

This brings me to a loss of self, once how I used to be and now how I am today. Like two different worlds. I thank Jesus for this current state of mind and definitely would not want to go back.

Not having the presence of passed loved one around to hold memories on a daily basis. Instead, the memories a fleeting and sometimes fades.

This poem does challenge me to reflect on my beliefs, values and the essence of being. I know as I am creating this page it has led me deeper into my faith and personal growth of my spiritual journey.

The word "erased" in his poetry signifies more than just physical disappearance; it suggests a deeper loss of self. Valente prompts readers to contemplate what remains of our identities when memories fade or when we

Fleeting Nature of Life

WC seven sorrow - crucified

The fleeting nature of life is a profound concept that invites us to reflect on our existence and the time we have.

Each moment is precious, yet it passes quickly, reminding us that nothing is permanent.

Working on this thought can help serve as a guiding light for us on our spiritual journeys, encouraging us to embrace the present and seek deeper meaning in our experiences.

In contemplating the brevity of life, we can draw inspiration from the mystery of the crucifixion. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross symbolizes profound love and the ultimate act of letting go. After the crucifixion, Jesus left behind a legacy of hope and transformation. This moment serves as a powerful reminder that, even in the face of loss and suffering, there is potential for renewal and spiritual growth.

The crucifixion invites us to confront our own struggles and the impermanence of our circumstances. It teaches that through acceptance and surrender, we can find strength and resilience.

We should be encouraged to explore our thoughts and feelings about life's passing moments and how it can lead to deeper self-awareness and spiritual insight.
