Get ready for the steep climb and descents of the virtual spiritual walk with our Lord Jesus Christ. Lourdes High Stations also called The Espelugues - Stations of the Cross are located high up above the Basilica.

These 115 life sized statues are made of patinated cast iron. They were erected in September of 1912. This walk is 1500 meters long approximately 1 mile with a difficult climb and descents involved.

I was very surprised on my walk of these stations to find a 15th Station and depicted so real.  The descent of the mountain was steep and very hot in the afternoon. When I finally reached this station, I was happy to see but at the same time sad.
