Meditation:
The men take Jesus down from the Cross and places Him in His mother's arms. This is a day of pain and sorrow for her. I can't begin to imagine what Mary felt this day. My heart can and does poor out with compassion.
Prayer:
O Mother of Sorrow, for the love of this Son, accept me and pray to Him for me. And Thou, my Redeemer, since Thou hast died for me, permit me to love Thee; I wish but Thee and nothing more.
